Per loving the science of how my mental health works, here's a new molecule structure: Dopamine. Dopamine is a type of neurotransmitter. Your body makes it, and your nervous system uses it to send messages between nerve cells. That's why it's sometimes called a chemical messenger. Dopamine plays a role in how we feel pleasure. It is responsible for allowing you to feel pleasure, satisfaction and motivation. When you feel good that you have achieved something, it's because you have a surge of dopamine in the brain. A dopamine deficiency may be related to certain medical conditions, including depression and Parkinson's disease. A dopamine deficiency can be due to a drop in the amount of dopamine made by the body or a problem with the receptors in the brain. I don't have Parkinson's sooo, definitely the depression part probably is the one attacking my dopamine levels. Get this necklace as a little reminder to get your dopamine on.
