Design Inspiration
Ever been told, 'take a chill pill?' who knew! Well, probably everyone did but not my high school Latina self, that there were actual 'chill pills'. The concept of medication as a Latinx person in the time of millennials, was definitely not a thing. I am a personal fan of a chill pill here and there because it's been there to save me. I needed to 'chill the F out'. Now, when I do have them prescribed, I take a Xanax, max 3 times a year. I say this because it's more of a security blanket, to be used as needed. Xanax, like Klonopin and Ativan, are known to be addictive. My personal paranoia about getting addicted more than likely helps me maintain this. Either way, I created 'LAS CHILL PILLS' to bring awareness to the usage of medication, and to continue to break the stigma of its use to support us in our mental health journeys.
